Breakaway Kids Camps - What You Need To Do To Become A Leader

Are you considering becoming a Leader at Breakaway Camp? We welcome you to apply. Being a Leader at Breakaway Camp is a challenging and rewarding experience. Our Mission statement says that we do Breakaway Ministry "so that lives are changed eternally." As a leader, be prepared for your life to be radically altered as well as the kids you will be ministering to. Expect to meet God at work.

You must download and complete the following forms to be a leader at Breakaway Camp. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these documents. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free from here.
- If you are keen to be a leader at camp next year, you will need to come to the Breakaway Conference. This is a compulsory weekend. Contact Andrew or Dan and Fernne to confirm your place.
- To be a leader at Breakaway Camp, you must be regularly attending a local church and be an active participant in that Church. We ask for a reference to that effect from your pastor / minister / priest.
- To be a leader at Breakaway Camp, you must fill out the NSW Government Legal forms
Junior Breakaway Leader Applications
- If you have been a leader at Junior Breakaway Camp before 2012 - please download and fill out this form and send it to the Junior Camp Directors, Dan and Fernne Johnston (fernnedan@breakawaycamp.org.au)
- If this is your first time as a leader at Junior Breakaway Camp, you must download and fill out this form and send it to the Junior Camp Directors, Dan and Fernne Johnston (fernnedan@breakawaycamp.org.au). You need to be at least 17 years old to be a leader at Junior Breakaway.
Senior Breakaway Leader Applications
- If you have been a leader at Senior Breakaway Camp before 2012 - please download and fill out this form and send it to the Senior Camp Director, Andrew Barrs (andrew@breakawaycamp.org.au).
- If this is your first time as a leader at Senior Breakaway Camp, you must download and fill out this form and send it to the Senior Camp Director, Andrew Barrs (andrew@breakawaycamp.org.au).
- If you have been a camper at Senior Camp and you want to be a leader, we ask that you become a leader at Junior Camp exclusively for one year before becoming a leader at Senior Camp. We have found that the transition from camper one year and Senior Camp leader the next does not really work and is not fair to you.
